Job Description:
SiFive is looking for a director-level product marketing manager who is passionate about defining products to meet customers needs. This person will own the performance CPU portfolio and associated systems which are being deployed in consumer and infrastructure markets. The role requires someone very outward facing who can engage with customers and ecosystem partners to understand exactly what they need to maximize their success. SiFive already has numerous design wins in consumer and infrastructure markets, so this role will be building on this to further grow the business.
The open standard model of RISC-V is fundamentally changing the way the industry is thinking about CPUs and compute. As the leading provider of IP based on RISC-V, SiFive is one of the key players driving this change working with many leading companies across the semiconductor industry. As a member of the product team at SiFive you will become the face of your products externally and internally making this a highly visible & impactful role.
Responsibilities

• Cradle to grave product management for SiFive's performance family - our highest performance out of order CPUs used in markets such as consumer and infrastructure.
• Create compelling go-to-market and sales collateral demonstrating the value of SiFive's products.
• Engage with customers and strategic partners to both understand their requirements and to drive design wins for SiFive
• Work with business development and sales to define the right go-to-market strategy for each market segment
• Provide market requirements to internal teams to define future product needs
• Manage products through the development lifecycle

Requirements:

• 10+ years in technology industry
• 7+ years in customer facing role such as Product Management and Marketing, Segment Marketing, Business Development, Field Applications engineering
• Fluent in semiconductor SoC architectures for consumer (wearable, mobile, TV etc..) and/or infrastructure segments (server, networking, storage etc..)
• Good understanding of customer software requirement in those segments
• Balanced marketing & technical credibility - able to understand technology and then articulate its value to customers.
• Public speaking in front of a diverse audience ranging from 5 - 100+ people and a mix of technical and business audience. Ability to crisply articulate and communicate highly complex concepts and arguments
• Ability to enable sales to drive large complex opportunities from concept to closure
• Ability to work in a fast-moving, diverse work environment

Nice to Have:

• Understanding of CPU microarchitectures. This is secondary to understanding of how CPUs are deployed in customers systems
• Good knowledge of Arm and/or RISC-V architectures
• Previous experience in IP licensing, especially in processors & surrounding IP

Compensation Range:
$181,050-$244,950
