The Senior Pricing Analyst is responsible for pricing strategy and RFPs for new and existing customers. This individual will have a strong understanding of the truckload market and experience in marketing freight.
Responsibilities:
- Create strategic pricing and analytical responses for new and existing business.
- Evolve with the marketplace to deliver competitive solutions to customers while growing volume and margins for the business.
- Deliver solutions in a dynamic data visualization format (SQL) to quickly respond to customer RFPs & renewals.
- Works with leadership to ensure customers receive accurate, and complete information in the most efficient and user-friendly manner.
- Performs other duties as requested by the supervisor.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in pricing; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to effectively use Excel, SQL and other business reporting tools and techniques.
- Ability to use tools to mine data and create meaningful reports.
- Knowledge of how to formulate strategic plans and forecast future rates.
- Demonstrate a high level of problem-solving skills: listening to, interpreting, and meeting the needs of others; diagnosing and rectifying problems.
