About the open position:

We're currently seeking a talented Senior PowerBI Report Developer to lead the implementation of reports designed by the Report Designer. This employee brings extensive experience in developing PowerBI reports and a strong understanding of PowerBI licensing options, third-party offerings, user customization, access controls, and report performance optimizations. Additionally, the Senior PowerBI Report Developer leads the Report Development team and ensures consistent development and delivery of reports.

This full-time, salaried position is open to candidates in the US who are eligible to work without current or future sponsorship. The salary range is $110,000 to $135,000 annually, depending on skills and expertise.

What you’ll do as a Senior PowerBI Report Developer:

• Lead the Report Development team, providing guidance, mentoring, and technical expertise.
• Lead the implementation of reports designed by the Report Designer, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery.
• Develop PowerBI reports according to established standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with the Report Designer and stakeholders to understand report requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Implement standards for report development and process flow to ensure consistent development and delivery of reports.
• Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
• Manage user customization and access controls for reports, ensuring data security and compliance.

What you’ll bring to the role:

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in developing PowerBI reports.
• A strong understanding of PowerBI licensing options, third-party offerings, user customization, and access controls.
• Experience implementing standards for report development and process flow.
• Experience leading or mentoring a team of developers.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• An ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll be a top candidate if you have:

• A PowerBI certification.
• Familiarity with other report development tools, such as Tableau and Microsoft Reporting Services.
• Experience with Jira for workflow tracking.
• Experience using GitHub for report change management.
