Senior Planner or Principal Planner

Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Principal to join our team. As a Senior Principal, you will play a key role in leading and managing projects related to urban planning and transportation. Minimum Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.

· Two years of professional planning or closely related experience.

· Must possess or have ability to obtain within first sixty days of employment and must maintain a valid New Mexico Class D driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications for Associate Planner:

· Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Planning or related field.

Additional Qualifications for Sr. Planner:

· Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.

· Additional two years of professional planning experience, including some experience with the management of planning projects.

Preferred Qualifications for Sr. Planner:

· Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Planning, Landscape Architecture, Architecture, or related field.

Additional Qualifications for Principal Planner:

· Additional one year of professional planning experience.

· One year experience in the management of complex planning projects.

· Must possess and maintain certification by the American Institute of Certified Planners.

Preferred Qualifications for Sr. Planner:

· Experience working in a municipality or other public entity.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,843.00 - $123,498.82 per year
