Senior Pharmacy Technician - Pharmacy at Providence St. Mary Medical Center

Under the general guidance and direction of the Pharmacists, the Medication Reconciliation Pharmacy Technician performs specialized duties to collect complete and accurate prior-to-admission medication lists for newly admitted patients as well as patients receiving care in the PSMMC Emergency Department. Additional job functions include inventory and auditing duties and medication preparation and dispensing.

Required Qualifications:

  • Washington Pharmacy Technician License
  • One (1) year of experience in retail or two (2) years of experience in an Inpatient pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician
  • Experience with current pharmacy information systems
  • Successful completion of the Medication Reconciliation Technician Competency Program upon hire

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a Pharmacy Technician Program
  • National Certification upon hire
