Senior Paralegal

Chobani is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Paralegal to join our Legal team as Senior Paralegal, Sales and Marketing. The Senior Paralegal will play a crucial role in supporting Sales and Marketing, while providing assistance to attorneys in the Legal Department. The Senior Paralegal will also manage numerous legal documents and contracts in support of the Chobani and La Colombe brands. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and proactive individual to contribute to the success of a dynamic and innovative company in the food and beverage industry. The role will report to the Associate General Counsel, Sales and also directly support the Assistant General Counsel responsible for Marketing and Creative.

• Review marketing materials, including print, digital and social, to ensure FTC and consumer protection compliance and identify intellectual property and trademark clearance issues that require elevation to attorneys
• Review and revise various agreement templates, including content creator, influencer, and joint promotion and sponsorship agreements; negotiate NDAs and other licensing, marketing and creative and production related agreements
• Assist attorneys in the review of commercial, sales, and other commercial agreements supporting the Sales and Commercial teams including but not limited retail sales, hospitality, foodservice and direct to consumer (e-commerce)
• Assist with legal training of the Marketing and Commercial teams on critical legal issues, including marketing/advertising, commercial initiatives and improved ways of working
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external parties
• Manage weekly legal review meetings with cross-functional business partners
• Collaborate and communicate with other members of the legal team in support of a high-performance culture
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by the Legal team

• Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a paralegal, with a focus on sales, marketing, trademark/copyright, or general commercial contracts/transactions
• Strongly preferred is experience working in CPG, with a focus on sales/commercial/marketing
• Paralegal certification preferred
• Proficiency in Office365 and other systems to capture redline edits and legal feedback with strong working knowledge in Word, Powerpoint, and Excel
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Sound judgment and discretion in handling confidential information
• Familiarity with food industry regulations and compliance matters is a plus
