about this team

As a member of the Outbound Logistics Team, you support our Retail Stores and Ecom guests by partnering with DC teams and transportation vendors to meet their specific requirements. This role is responsible for ensuring that all movement of product is performed to schedule. They provide updates and recommendations regarding timely product delivery, shipment accuracy, and cost control. A Logistics Specialist provides consultation to Stores, Store Ops, Distribution and Store Support Center Partners (Merchandising, Allocation, and Finance). They coordinate with cross-functional teams inside and outside our company to successfully meet by whens, SLA’s, and department expectations. They implement tactical operational strategies, course corrects for planned and unforeseen events and provide timely communication to teams.


a day in the life

  • Be responsible for lululemon’s vendor management processes for Logistics Service Providers (LSPs) and Carriers
  • Critically review current processes and lead process changes across departments where needed.
  • Regularly review data to ensure performance standards are met. Develop & maintain dashboards with KPIs related to vendor management. Deep-dive into exceptions when necessary.
  • Organize regular performance reviews with carriers, standardizing their performance across the network.
  • Drive training initiatives for the team and maintain current SOP archives.
  • Support Outbound Logistics team projects and initiatives, coordinating with internal & external stakeholders.
  • Support in streamlining work for the OBL team and support in building efficiencies and redundancies.


qualifications

  • 5-8 years of experience in logistics or supply chain. Working knowledge of logistics industry and practices.
  • Strong emphasis on organization and process management
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills (verbal and non-verbal). Capability to communicate complex or technical projects with those outside of the logistics industry.
  • Curiosity about the industry & desire to learn more about how logistics networks can be improved and managed.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications, including Excel, Power BI, Access, PowerPoint, Forms, and Word
  • Strong analytical skills, with ability to deep dive into data to determine root cause or conduct “what-if" analysis
  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects or priorities.
  • Undisputed integrity, personal and business ethics; ability to build trust and respect with different stakeholder groups.

Compensation and Benefits Package 

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $81,100 – 106,500annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.

workplace arrangement

This role is classified as Hybrid under our SSC Workplace Policy:  

In-person collaboration is important, and much of the role can be performed remotely. Work is performed onsite at least 3 days per week.
