The Sr Order Management Analyst will be responsible for oversight of customer orders, analyzing demand, and informing on appropriate solutions to meet customer needs. You will require an understanding of sales operation cycles including Customer Forecasting, Purchase Orders, Sales Orders, Allocation, and fulfillment. You will assess orders, allocation, product distribution, and delivery performance.
This role will manage customer experience and provide management with recommendations. You will be an integral partner to the Commercial Operations team.
The Role:Implement the Order Management tasks, monitor the accuracy of demand and demand prioritization, input all orders according to ship plan, and allocation availability
Operate as a command center for Demand Planning executing allocations to support inventory strategies.
Partner with distribution for updates and to provide insight on customer order expectations.
Provide necessary reporting and insights based on orders, allocations and contract commitments
Understand service and administrative responsibilities, including knowledge of complex product features and processing systems such as SAP and EDI
Possess knowledge of business operation systems, workflows, and downstream impacts, identifying gaps, and recommending improvements
Operate at a high level to meet or exceed business unit quality and productivity standards
Follow established procedures and make recommendations to gain operational efficiency
Use critical thinking to obtain insights from the data, analyze trends and provide customer insights
Perform routine analysis on customer account information to ensure compliance and regulatory needs are met and customer is performing successfully
Work with multiple business stakeholders, such as Customer Service, Demand Planning, and Distribution, to align priorities, resolve issues. and highlight risks
Lead cross functional projects and special assignments being a subject matter expert and department liaison/lead
Embrace, support, and drive change to move us forward to support strategic goals and objectives
Lead IT efforts to drive initiatives, system enhancements, testing, and production support
Conduct collaboration meetings to assess the forecast accuracy, point of sale trending, inventory, levels and shipment forecasting
Draw from customer insights to make suggestions to improve existing scorecards and other reporting outputs
Model behavior that expands cross-collaboration to enhance customer experience
Partner with internal stakeholders to create/maintain department procedures and training materials
Provide back-up support for Customer Account Analysts
Partner for continuous improvement efforts to boost efficiency/performance, reduce cost, and overall customer experience
Write test cases, scripts and perform regression testing for administrative systems
Bachelor’s degree
3 - 5 years' experience in Order Management or related field
Microsoft Office and strong Excel skills required
SAP, Model N, inventory management practices, and experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech or healthcare industry preferred
