Provide Microsoft 365 (M365) core program oversight and support Program Management Office activities at the Enterprise level across the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), which consists of 28 Business Units (BUs) and Information Technology (IT) Organizations. M365 enterprise is a cloud-powered productivity platform that preserves and shares information across the IRS using MS Exchange Servers, MS Teams, OneDrive for Business (ODB), SharePoint Online (SPO), Project Online (PJO), and Power Platforms (PP) tools.
The Increase Reduction Act New Hire (IRA-NH) signed by Congress August 16, 2022, mandates the IRS to improve the taxpayer experience and compliance. This M365 task order will ensure that the M365 tools are in place to provide the taxpayers with the ability to navigate the IRS systems with ease and to ensure taxpayer compliance.
Job Description:
The Contractor shall provide OneDrive for Business Administration of M365 business cloud systems and applications. Oversee and execute tasks pertaining to the maintenance and administration of the IRS Enterprise. Ensure bandwidth is available for increase of new hires.
Job Requirements:
- Technical Support - Ensure OneDrive for Business Admin Center is operational with no disruption and/or escalate concerns to program lead as soon as possible.
- Maintain desktop application, web access, and mobile application accounts.
- Maintenance of the OneDrive for Business applications.
- Monitor application health information and escalation concerns.
- Provide technical support, manage, delete, restore, and create M365 roles & groups for OneDrive users.
- Create, reset, and delete Privileged Accounts.
- Assist with group policy object (GPO) updates.
- Implement industry best practices.
- Tickets – Service Now - Review ticket queue.
- Ticket update and completion.
- Responding to end user inquiries by e-mail.
- Reassign tickets to appropriate personnel or groups.
- Mailbox -Responding to employee inquiries. Determine resolution.
- Utilizing FAQs, How-To’s, or other reference materials as necessary.
- Guide employees on how to enter ServiceNow tickets or have employee attend applicable training.
- Identify Trends related to OneDrive and Provide updates on trends.
- Assist in identifying resolution to update (Standard Operating Procedures) SOP and reference materials.
- Status Report - Provide bi-weekly status reports that encompasses schedule, M365 deliverables for each tool, action items, risks, mitigations, escalations, accomplishments, and closures.
Job Required Skills:
Contractor shall have a minimum 5 years’ experience supporting Microsoft 365 (M365) Cloud Based Suite in a large corporate/government environment.- Contractor shall have excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technologies and technical business concepts to multiple audiences.
- Contractor shall establish and maintain effective business unit relationships.
Desired Outcome:
The Contractor shall provide successful OneDrive for Business Administration skills to the M365 Program Management Office (PMO) to ensure successful migrations and timely completion of specified projects.
