Job description:
Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Senior Network Engineer who will utilize industry and or domain knowledge and experience to perform technical analysis, develop working prototypes, and recommend best practice business changes for a federal client and the CTO. The position requires self-motivation, strong communication and collaboration skills, creativity, a broad range of technical knowledge and skill, and the ability to perform research and develop practical, cost effective, secure, IT based solution recommendations to solve client business challenges. The Senior Network Engineer should be familiar with: Enterprise IT architecture, IT management, on premises IT platforms, compute storage networking, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, and the concepts of Agile project management and software defined approach to infrastructure and software deployment. Deep understanding of network protocols, hardware routers, switches, firewall, cisco and data security systems Building scalable network infrastructure integrating offerings from public cloud
Responsibilities:
- Utilize industry/domain experience to deliver business value to clients
- Implement and stabilize client network processes, maximize client operations, or uncover opportunities to reduce costs, increase revenue, improve customer satisfaction and optimize business processes
- Develop industry expertise or standard network frameworks (e.g. e-TOM) to improve client business functions like network planning and operations, order management, provisioning, test and install and service assurance etc.
Here's what you need:
- Minimum 10 years of experience as a Network Engineer
- Experience with the use of Multiprotocol BGP or VPNv4 as applied to the distribution of routing information between VRF routing instances
- Minimum Five (5) years' experience with a combination of network analysis, design, and/or implementation activities
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in systems analysis, data center management, networking and communications applications on complex information systems
- Minimum three (3) years of Network design experience including routing, switching, and/or firewall rules administration
Bonus points if you have:
- Effective verbal and non-verbal communication with peers and C-Suite level client leadership
- Security+ CE or equivalent security certification
- CISCO certification(s)
Security Clearance:
- Active TS/SCI security clearance required, likely to obtain CI poly
Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York or Washington as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here.
Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role
California: $117,000 - $214,300
Colorado: $117,00 - $185,200
New York: $108,500 - $214,300
Washington: $124,700 - $197,300
