Senior Network Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTIONSkiltrek is looking for a Senior Network Engineer to work hybrid in Beaverton, OR. We're looking for a Senior Network Engineer, with the ability to work on Cisco Routing and Switching platforms as well as Velocloud SDWAN platforms. We are looking for a person who can lean in and support various Engineering pillars which could include Retail Edge Locations, Showrooms, Remote Offices, etc. This individual will assist Implementation of infrastructure projects with teams across the globe. Execute technical and functional resolution or workaround to mitigate or restore infrastructure service disruptions. As the team is moving towards an automation initiative, we are also looking for an individual that has experience with API Integrations and Network Automation knowledge to Develop and test new network architecture in response to business-driven requests for additional functionality.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSCurrent CCNA Route Switch Certification
7+ years Network Engineering experience to include the following:
- Expert knowledge of Cisco platforms ISR/ASR, Catalyst Switching, ASA
- Opening/managing RMA and TAC cases with Cisco.
- Expert knowledge of SDWAN platforms
- Ticketing and work/project Systems (ServiceNow, Jira)
- L2/L3 switching
- EIGRP/BGP/OSPF routing
- Network Services (DHCP,DNS)
- Experience within Network Automation
Scripting Languages (Pyton/Perl -- preferably Python)
API Integration
TestingDESIRED SKILLSAdditional CCNP certification is a plus
