Senior Network Engineer

T-Rex Solutions is seeking a qualified Senior Network Engineer to support the Hill Component Enterprise Data Center IT Operations and Maintenance Services program located at Hill Air Force Base, Utah (HAFB). This program aims to modernize legacy USAF network infrastructure and migrate services into a new AWS Cloud Environment. For any candidates not already local to the Ogden, UT area, T-Rex is offering a relocation support package to assist with moving costs.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor, administer, and ensure recoverability and adherence of F5 technical infrastructure and application environments. Systems administration includes, but not limited to: support of both hardware and operating system; and maintenance of the applications running on the servers.
• Coordinate F5 Administration tasks. Examples of these tasks includes, but not limited to: installing security patches; completing backups, completing system restoration and rebuilding smart card plug-in (CAC), OCSP standup (certificate verification) tables; software installs and version upgrades; service account management; correction/recovery of corrupted files; certificate management; password management; VIP management; load balancer configuration; traffic monitoring and reporting; and applying STIGs, SRGs, and IAVMs, etc.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or IT related field with five (5) or more years of experience in determining information technology effects on the organizational structure and determining the ability that IT can support/meet organizational goals. A Master's Degree and 3+ years of experience or a PhD and 0+ years of experience may be substituted.
• Must possess an Interim or Active Secret Clearance
• Must possess specific technical and functional expertise and knowledge of F5 products, including but not limited to:
  o F5 BIG-IP Local Traffic Manager (LTM)
  o Access Policy Manager B21(APM)
  o Application Security Module (ASM)
  o Application Firewall Module (AFM)
  o BIG IP DNS version 13 and higher
  o F5 Big-IP ILX 13 and higher
  o F5 Viprion application delivery controller model 4800 and virtual edition (VE)

In compliance with pay transparency guidelines, the annual base salary range for this position is $75,000 - $168,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
