Set Solutions is on the hunt for a Network Administrator for a client in Tupelo, MS. Due to the sensitive information you will be working with on a day to day basis, this role will be onsite.
This person will be involved with both remote and on-site troubleshooting and support of various data center solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Network Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and maintain our organization's network infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and security.
- CISCO Expertise: Leverage in-depth knowledge of CISCO networking technologies to configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Palo Alto Proficiency: Demonstrate expertise in Palo Alto Networks solutions, implementing and maintaining next-generation firewalls to safeguard our network against evolving cyber threats.
- Security Management: Implement and enforce security policies, conduct regular security audits, and collaborate with teams to address vulnerabilities and enhance overall network security.
- Troubleshooting and Support: Respond promptly to network issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions to minimize downtime. Provide technical support to end-users and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex problems.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date network documentation, including configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams to integrate network solutions with other technology components, ensuring seamless interoperability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Network Administrator, with a focus on CISCO and Palo Alto technologies.
- Certification in relevant technologies, such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Administrator (PCNSA).
- Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, and switching.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
