Job Title:

Senior .Net Developer

 

Type of Position:

9-month contract position initially but could extend if the client continues to have a need.

 

Candidate Requirements:

This role is open to US Citizens and Permanent Residents (Green Card Holders). Candidates on F1-CPT, F1-OPT, H1B or TN visas are also permitted in this role. This company is NOT open to corp2corp (c2c) or corp2hire (c2h) – no exceptions.

 

Job Location:

Lisle, IL (this is an on site role, remote work is not permitted here).

 

Compensation:

No less than $45.00/hr to $50.00/hr for candidates who meet basic qualifications. There will be significant flexibility above this rate range for well qualified candidates (up to a max of $68/hr). Overtime paid at 1.5x over 40 hours.

  • This role will have 7 paid holidays and 5 days PTO (PTO accrues over time). In going direct hire, there will be significantly more PTO.

 

Job Description:

HRU Technical Resources has partnered with a global digital technology services company (which provides services such as digital transformation, product engineering, and data analytics) all over the world. We are seeking a Senior .Net Developer to work on site at one of our client locations in Lisle, IL. In this role, we are seeking candidates who can use Microsoft platform technologies (ASP.NET) and Azure to design, build and modify existing business-tier components, web applications, and database objects. We are looking for people who are passionate about research and development to help build innovative solutions.

 

Primary Skills / Experience Required:

  • Azure Cloud (IaaS, PaaS, Saas, etc). We’re seeking experience with Azure SQL, AppService, Logic Apps, Functions and other Serverless services.
  • Azure Active Directory (AD)
  • Azure DevOps
  • .Net Core
  • .Net Framework (Legacy)
  • ASP.Net 

 

Preferred Certifications:

  • Azure Developer Associate certification is highly desired (although not required).

 

Primary Responsibilities:

Development:

  • Independently develop code to maintain best coding and engineering practices.

Configuration Management:

  • Implement and monitor the configuration process.

Testing:

  • Create and review unit test cases, scenarios, and execution.
  • Ensure 100% code coverage for unit testing.

Documentation:

  • Sign off on templates, checklists, guidelines, and standards for design, process, and development.
  • Sign off on deliverable documents, including design documentation, requirements, and test cases/results.

Design:

  • Create design Low-Level Design (LLD) architecture for applications, features, business components, and data models.

Customer Interaction:

  • Interface with customers to proactively influence their thought process.
  • Consider Net Promoter Score (NPS) for customer and delivery performance.

Project Management:

  • Contribute to module-level development.
  • Manage project-related activities.

Knowledge Management:

  • Consume and contribute to project-related documents, SharePoint, libraries, and client universities.
  • Create knowledge-sharing assets.

Technical Problem Resolution:

  • Assist others in resolving complex technical problems.
  • Manage all aspects of problem management activities, investigating root causes, and recommending SMART solutions.

Standards & Documentation:

  • Develop and review standards and documentation.
  • Maintain software process improvement activities, communicating with various stakeholders.

 

Additional Responsibilities:

Technology Solutions Development:

  • Systematically develop and promote technology solutions ensuring they meet functional and non-functional requirements.

Business Requirements Support:

  • Develop and promote technical solutions supporting business requirements within the area of expertise.

IT Requirements and Service Quality:

  • Ensure IT requirements are met, and service quality is maintained when introducing new services.

Goal Setting and Mentoring:

  • Set FAST goals and provide feedback to FAST goals of mentees.
  • Mentor Developers to facilitate their growth to the next level.

Innovation and Technical Depth:

  • Demonstrate innovation and technical depth for in-depth project analysis.
  • Provide innovative contributions by automating repetitive work.

Team and Standards Upholding:

  • Uphold standards and best practices within work and team projects.
  • Conduct peer reviews and uphold high-quality standards for reviewed deliverables.

Technical Assessments:

  • Conduct technical assessments for hiring candidates for Developer roles.

 

Work Environment:

  • This is a 1st (day) shift role.
  • There may be occasional overtime in this role. Any OT will be paid at 1.5x.
  • Please note, this is an on-site role (it will not be hybrid / remote).
  • Offer will be contingent upon a drug screen (which includes cannabis) and a background check.
