Senior Multi-Client Engineer

JOB PURPOSE

• This role will be responsible for supporting the company's future and existing operations, meeting project deadlines and proactively manage customer and stakeholder expectations by following the Solutions/Pricing Engineering governance process in the Americas’ region.
• As a Sr.MCM Solutions/Pricing engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that technologies and processes are running as planned, having access to all tools, and collaborating with solutions and operations teams. You will also help lead and shape the design of our solutions as someone with a strong technical background in warehouse automation, and you will have a significant impact on our technology and engineering decisions. You will assist us in developing a strong culture, facilitating multi-client warehouse implementation, and working with us to constantly improve the way we work.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• 50% - Collect and analyse Operational, investment and financial data to estimate costs associated with warehousing and distribution of current and future to be determined multi-client warehouse. Liase with Operations. Pricing and Procurement team stakeholders and recommend cost effective solutions to fulfil customer needs.
• 25% - Evaluate market trends, costs and competition to determine optimal pricing strategies for products & services. Develop pricing models collaborating with cross functional teams and implement pricing structures to maximise profitability.
• 15% - Optimize warehouse operations to efficiently handle multi clients inventory including but not limited to designing storage systems, implementing logistics strategies, analysing data, improving processes and maintaining client satisfaction through effective supply chain solution management.
• 10% - Drive continuous process improvement, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional operational and development teams to solve problems and implement new solutions.
• 10% - Serves as Engineering SME in terms of standards design, implementation, adoption, future development, and execution at each site. Develop & write process documents, flowcharts & review all standards to ensure SOPs and standards accurately reflect the unique operations at a given site.

OTHER

• Responsible for the management and leadership of an engaged team, promoting collaboration and ensuring that each is developed and evaluated against goals and objectives which are aligned, specific, measurable, attainable yet challenging, realistic and time bound.
• Act as an ambassador for DP World at all times when working; promoting and demonstrating positive behaviours in harmony with DP World’s Principles, values and culture; ensuring the highest level of safety is applied in all activities; understanding and following DP World’s Code of Conduct and Ethics policies
• Perform other related duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Logistics, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical or Automation)
• Experience in multi-client warehouse operations
• Deep understanding of pricing models and solutions especially as it relates to Multi Client operations
• Experience designing and implementing automation equipment including computer / Machine vision, Robotics, sortation, conveyance, and autonomous robots etc...
• Experience in agile project management
• Ability to travel 25-30%

Preferred:

• MOST Certification
• Bilingual candidate (Spanish, English)

EXPERIENCE

• 5-7 years’ Cost estimation and solutions development for a Multi-client setup in 3PL
• 1-2 years of experience in the design and installation of automation systems preferably in 3PL OR

Definite asset:

• Experience in cost modelling/solutions for anchor client in multi-client warehouse for a 3PL logistics industry/DC

Salary Range: $97,500-$119,500

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
