Our location history starts in 1865 when Warren Foundry and Machine Company casted stoves, steam engines, mill gearing and other foundry related items. Currently we specialize in the casting of iron ductile pipes that range from 3" to 24" in diameter.

Responsibilities:
- Must have the ability to perform all jobs within the Melting Department
- Make sure there is enough magnesium, silicon, and chill material throughout the day
- Clean the cupola long runner
- Hit the taphole with “L Bar”
- Change lime bags as required
- Open taphole
- Pour iron
- Keep the shell from getting hot
- Check coke and lime scale
- Weigh coke and lime before each charge
- Housekeeping duties as assigned
- Perform bottom drop duties as instructed
- Connect with the supervisor about any issue safety or production related
- Any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
- If applicable; Must complete all required Environmental training specific to this position

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Preferred: 2-3 years previous experience working in a manufacturing/warehouse environment
- Must be able to get along with all personnel levels
- Must work with others in a professional, supportive manner
- Ability to read policies and procedures
- Ability to follow all work directives and safety procedures
- Must be a self-starter
- Must be able to read and understand English
