Under the general direction of the Manager, Health Information, or designee, processes a variety of patient records to support the department's mission to secure and maintain accurate patient Health Information. Tasks include Customer service both face to face and telephone or correspondence, document capture processing, Health Information report routing, release of information (ROI), data abstracting and reporting to external entities, maintaining logs, and functions related to billing and collections for ROI.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree
- 2 years Customer support experience.
- 2 years Working with personal desktop computers, printers.
- 1 year Health Information Management or equivalent related health care setting.
- Experience with electronic patient health systems.

About the Team
Providence Physician Enterprise (PE) is a service line within Providence serving patients across seven states with quality, compassionate, coordinated care. Collectively, our medical groups and affiliate practices are the third largest group in the country with over 11,000 providers, 900 clinics and 30,000 caregivers.
