SalaryResponsible for office, out-patient, and inpatient physician coding. Provides education regarding documentation requirements to improve coding quality and ensure accurate and complete capture of revenue.
Process claims daily and correct front-end edits timely for submissions.
Reprocess rejections, and file appeals for claim denials to ensure maximum reimbursement.
Provide billing assistance to office staffs/providers and patients.
Monitor and resolve financial discrepancies.
A/R follow ups.
Assist billing manager on a daily basis.
Any additional duties as requested by management.
Qualifications: Associates Degree or HS Diploma/GED with plus 2 years of Medical Billing/coding experiences. Four years experience in medical practice or outpatient coding. Knowledge of different commercial/medicare insurances. CPC preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.45 - $38.98 per hour
