SalaryMedloop a large multi-specialty Medical Billing company servicing many clients across the US mostly in NY/NJ is looking for a talented and highly motivated SeniorMedical Billing Specialist. The Senior Medical Billing Specialistwill be responsible for multiple accounts.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as a liaison between patient, insurer, and practice
- Provide customer support to customers with disputes or inquiries concerning invoices or billing process
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with a customer service focus
- Create reports for customers
- Processing appeals
- Analyze, research and resolve denials
- Investigate and resolve insurance recoupments
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Key Skills/Experience
- 5+ years Medical Billing experience required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Understanding of collection practices and laws
- Detail oriented and organized
- Ability to act with discretion, tact, and professionalism in all situations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and related software
