The Senior Media Planner, SPORTS, is the linchpin, overseeing paid media briefing and execution for college football, NHL, and PGA franchises. We use data to tailor local media strategies based on past campaign performance, local player behavior, and usage trends. As an important SPORTS Pod member, you manage our media agency, ensuring for our SPORTS portfolio.
Responsibilities:
- You will lead our media agency, creating comprehensive global media plans for EA Sports College Football, the NHL, and the PGA.
- Maintain strict oversight of EA SPORTS franchise media plans, including purchase orders, budget estimates, and detailed plans, while monitoring performance.
- Collaborate with franchise, production, and localization teams to communicate asset requirements and best practices. Ensure seamless delivery with agency teams.
- You will lead media activations with the Global Media Lead, Sports.
- Develop insightful reports on media performance to enhance campaign effectiveness.
- Understand digital media intricacies, audience insights, and cultural nuances, encouraging expertise in media owners and their capabilities.
- Create media artifacts, including media plans, creative runways, media reporting, market analysis, reports, and finance tracking.
Qualifications:
- You have 3+ years of hands-on paid media experience with a knowledge of planning, digital and traditional channels, and full-funnel metrics.
- You have experience working with media agencies.
- Show the ability to extract insights from previous media campaigns.
- Demonstrate interest in the evolving world of data, attribution, and media testing.
- Develop confidence to advocate for the media's role in our marketing organization.
- Showcase expertise in short- and long-term measurement strategies, first-party data use, and the future of attribution.

BC COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these locations. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location. EA has listed the base salary ranges it in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in the locations listed, as of the time of this posting. Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.
BASE SALARY RANGES
- British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria):
$63,350 - $98,800 CAN Annually
Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
