Description
Fisher Associates is seeking an energetic, self-motivated, organized Senior Marketing Specialist. This ideal candidate will have a strong marketing, writing, business or administrative background and will be instrumental in leading the development, preparation, and coordination of proposals and qualifications statements from the opportunity identification phase through proposal submittal and client interviews stages. The candidate will also provide support in the preparation of various marketing collaterals including brochures, articles, website content, as well as prequalification packages, vendor registrations, award submittals, and conference materials.

Essential Functions

  • Establish and maintain strong client relationships adhering to the Fisher Clientship philosophy.
  • Lead the development of compliant proposals, qualifications statements, vendor registrations, prequalification packages, and other marketing collaterals.
  • Organize and facilitate proposal kick-off meetings, pursuit strategy meetings, and go/no-go discussions.
  • Assist technical staff and client managers with the development of strong pursuit strategies and win themes.
  • Write, review, and edit content with a focus on key messaging, clarity, and compliance with RFP/RFQ and other requirements.
  • Manage the proposal schedule, obtaining information from others in a timely manner that allows for the required QA/QC to be conducted.
  • Create proposal templates, format and prepare proposal and marketing content using Adobe InDesign or Microsoft Word, with an emphasis on making proposals more visually appealing by leveraging graphics over words when possible.
  • Directly coordinate and communicate proposal needs and activities with internal and external (sub-consultants) team members and coordinate team proposal reviews.
  • Provide QA/QC reviews of proposals prepared by others, providing constructive feedback geared towards coaching and supporting.
  • Prepare final electronic or printing, binding, and packaging of proposals, and coordinate on-time shipments with necessary attachments and packaging details.
  • Lead and prepare Standard Form proposal preparations including SF 330 and SF 254/255 forms.
  • Lead and prepare prequalification packages and vendor registrations for public and private entities.
  • Assist in the monitoring of RFP/RFQ opportunities.
  • Assist in the development, execution, and maintenance of a resume and project sheet update process.
  • Assist in the review, update and communication/training of Fisher Associates' Proposal Development process.
  • Assist with developing a resource library including proposal content, photos, artwork, etc.
  • Assist in other internal and external communications and initiatives.
  • Assist in CRM updates including new opportunity tracking and updates.

Requirements
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, Journalism or English or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven proposal development experience.
  • Experience with Adobe InDesign, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint skills and familiarity with other Adobe (Photoshop, Illustrator) and Microsoft Office preferred.
  • Detail-oriented self-starter with proficient writing and proof-reading skills.
  • Experience in the A/E/C industry is strongly preferred.

  • Environmental Conditions: Office environment, field environment, construction site environment; exposure to dust, noise, grease, smoke, fumes, gases, heat, cold, and inclement weather conditions when working in the field.

Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000 annually
Actual compensation may vary based on relevant experience, qualifications/education, and other factors. The salary range is not necessarily reflective of the actual total compensation that may be earned nor promises any specific pay for any specific employee. Salary range excludes monetary value of benefits.
