Strategically align Central and U.S. Visual Merchandising directives for Dior at Ulta, all categories (fragrance and beauty) for temporary and permanent elements. The position will report to the Visual Merchandising Director.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage the design, development, and updates (4 times a year + 2 prices updates) for launch of Dior Ulta beauty gondola.
- Manage the design, development, and updates (5 times a year) for launch of Dior Ulta Fragrance units
- Manage Dior fragrance planograms at Ulta using the retailer's system (5 times a year).
- Manage Dior beauty planograms at Ulta.
- Liaise with Central VM team in Paris for approvals or directives.
- Develop and maintain Retailer relationships. Obtain retailer approvals for special merchandising opportunities. Communicate with their VM team on regular basis.
- Develop and maintain Vendor relationships, manage costing and ensure qualitative execution.
- Oversee engineering drawings, provide typesafety artwork and approve pre-production samples.
- Proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign, and Sketchup to create detailed mechanical drawings for Purchasing, as well as launch and season guidelines for the field for execution.
- Proficient in Office, Excel, ppt, for operational tasks.
- Must have knowledge of mechanical engineering, be well versed in Acrylic limitations, decorations and other materials used in Visual Merchandising.
- Regularly meet with Marketing and Sales teams to align for strategy.
- Provide Launch guidelines pertaining to launch roll out.
- Liaise with installation planner to align merchandising allocations.

Visual Merchandising Director
- 5+ years of experience in beauty , multiband environment preferred
- Exhibit a keen ability to be proactive as well as handle a multitude of projects at a time
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Able to use Adobe suite and Sketchup; 3D preferred, but not essential
- Able to use Office pack (Excel)
- Must be a creative and strategic thinker, an 'influencer', a consensus builder, and excellent team player
- Fluency or working knowledge of French is preferred
- Deals with confidential information and/or issues using discretion and judgment
- Travel required based on needs of the business
