Global Product Manager Senior - Plymouth, MN (Hybrid)
Responsibilities
Work with internal and external resources to develop strategically sound, relevant, and clinically accurate marketing communications programs and materials to support the business globally. Be the internal product executive and access point to the marketing communications team for defined internal clients. Be a source of ideas as to where and how to maximize our efforts in reaching and influencing customers and other key audiences. Monitoring what competitors are doing in messaging and positioning to continuously evolve ICU Medical products to maintain a competitive edge. Work closely with a cross-functional team across engineering, sales, finance, and quality to manage both short-term actions and long-term strategy. Develop and execute the product roadmap strategy including the identification of new products, product enhancements, and end-of-life actions. Lead market intelligence through market surveillance, competitive analysis, and industry reports to inform the product strategy, and inform marketing and sales initiatives. Define global customer needs and feature requirements for opportunities for future product(s) in the portfolio. Work on highly complex portfolios with large numbers of SKUs and large revenue volumes. Take a leadership role on special projects. Engage others, promote, and participate in Environmental, Health, and Safety initiatives, focusing on continuous improvement. *Hybrid work permitted. Must report to Plymouth office when not working from home. **Travel required, international and domestic, typically less than 20% of the time.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration with a Marketing emphasis, or closely related field plus five (5) years of experience in Product Marketing, job offered, or a closely related occupation. In lieu of this, Employer will accept seven (7) years of experience in Product Marketing, job offered, or a closely related occupation. *Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must possess expertise/knowledge sufficient to adequately perform the duties of the job being offered. Expertise/knowledge may be gained through employment experience or education. Such expertise/knowledge cannot be "quantified" by "time." Required expertise/knowledge includes: Experience creating business strategies and marketing surveillance, competitive analysis and industry reports. Experience managing complex portfolios with large numbers of SKUs and high revenue volumes. Experience leading product launches from launch strategy to market development programs to product claims and position. communications programs for complex products to reach specific target audiences. Works independently and successfully with a global cross-functional team. Proficient in writing business plans, tracking results and developing accurate global forecasting. Experience communicating and present technical/abstract concepts to non-technical audiences. Experience developing and managing content for use in a variety of communication channels with consistent brand/tone/voice. Proficiency in weighing options and choosing an appropriate course of action, within put from Product Managers, Directors and/ or VPs. Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate abstract concepts. Experience with market surveillance, competitive analysis and industry reports. Experience managing complex portfolios with large numbers of SKUs and high revenue volumes. Experience leading product launches from launch strategy to market development programs to product claims and position.
