JOB SUMMARY
The position plans, organizes and develops produce contracts across all produce items. The position will work with growers/shippers across all growing regions globally. Providing contracting options for all levels of Sysco.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Prospects and research lead within assigned categories/programs.
• Develops the program and writes the Produce Proposal Agreement.
• Knowledge of proprietary contract items and suppliers.
• Establishing supplier and customer responsibilities and capabilities.
• Plan and oversee program reviews to suppliers and customers.
• Analysis of costs year over year.
• Participate in various trade shows.
• Advanced Excel work regularly.
Education Required
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and at least 4 years of Food Service or Retail Produce experience.
Experience Required
6 years Food Service or Retail Produce purchasing
Experience Preferred
10 years of produce experience in purchasing.
Technical Skills and Abilities
Working knowledge and ability to process in Word, Excel, Power Point. Ability to speak in front of large groups. Run professional meetings/reviews/presentations with suppliers, peers, customers.

Travel will be required up to 4 times per year.
