Job Description
*This is a 1 year contract-to-hire position. Candidates must be local to Atlanta and 100% onboard with converting to a permanent employee. This position will be hybrid onsite 3x a week. Sponsorship is not available for this position.
Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Planning and Execution:
- Lead and oversee the comprehensive planning, execution, and optimization of interface and conversion projects from Agility to Oracle.
- Develop and communicate a strategic vision for project execution, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration to achieve seamless project delivery.
- Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth flow of data, with a specific focus on Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) processes for effective communication.
- Foster effective communication channels between different departments, ensuring a cohesive approach to data integration projects.
- Utilization of Deep Oracle Knowledge:
- Utilize deep Oracle knowledge to drive API and Transportation Management System (TMS) integration, actively participating in the data integration process.
- Provide subject matter expertise in Oracle systems, guiding teams in optimizing data integration solutions.
- Hands-On Leadership:
- Take a hands-on approach to leadership, actively engaging with the team to troubleshoot technical challenges and ensuring adherence to project timelines.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
- Operational Efficiency and Data Flow Enhancement:
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and data flow within the organization.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions that drive efficiency and effectiveness.
- Vendor Management:
- Manage vendors to ensure appropriate results, collaborating with them to define project scope, deliverables, and expectations.
- Monitor and report on vendor performance, ensuring alignment with project goals and contractual agreements.
- Proactively identify and address any issues or challenges with vendors to ensure the successful execution of projects.
Requirements:
- Proven Leadership Experience:
- Demonstrated leadership experience in overseeing complex data integration projects, preferably in Oracle environments.
- Track record of successfully leading and motivating teams to achieve project outcomes.
- In-Depth Oracle Knowledge:
- In-depth knowledge of Oracle systems, including API, TMS, and data integration.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage Oracle technologies for effective data integration solutions.
- Strong Communication Skills:
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster effective collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.
- Vendor Management Expertise:
- Previous experience in vendor management, including performance monitoring.
- Proactive approach to addressing challenges and driving continuous improvement in vendor relationships.
- Strategic Thinking:
- Ability to think strategically and develop a vision for data integration projects that aligns with organizational objectives.
- Capacity to develop and implement strategies that enhance operational efficiency and data flow.
