Eisner Advisory Group LLC is seeking to fill a position within Human Resources ("HR") focused on M&A integration. This individual will support the deal life cycle from early-stage integration planning through post-close execution. We are seeking an energetic, self-motivated, and solution-focused individual that can collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels. This role can sit in NJ, NY, or LI with flexibility to work remotely some of the time with the expectation of some travel. Other (remote) locations will be considered for a qualified candidate.
This individual will be responsible for planning and leading HR integration activities, partnering with key stakeholders across the entire firm, as well as communicating with leaders at target companies. The ability to plan, execute effectively, and pivot along the way will be critical to achieving success in this role. Equally important will be the ability to motivate and influence, while building relationships among the integration stakeholders as you collaborate towards achieving a common goal.

What Work You Will be Responsible For:
  • Leading the end-to-end HR integration process both strategically and tactically, as the primary point of contact for all HR integration work streams.
  • Creating an HR integration plan for each transaction by organizing pre-integration diligence, closing and Day 1 activities, and executing the post-close integration plan.
  • Support diligence and pre-close activities, such as HR documentation and analysis, HRIS systems analysis, target employee analysis, etc.
  • Managing post-close activities such as concern around the employee experience including "knowing where to go" for all questions around compensation and benefits, leaves of absence, rewards, performance, training, acquisition of experienced and campus hires for their teams and local/global deployment of resources.
  • Creating a post-close integration plan to integrate our colleagues within Service Lines, Industry and Operational Groups so that they develop new relationships that will enable their success in the newly combined firm.
  • Creating and executing HR's communication strategy, including project planning cadence, status updates, and adapting the integration plan as necessary.
  • Coordinating with the due diligence team and communicating all findings and impacts with the COE HR leaders.
  • Adapting the integration plan as necessary.
  • Building and cultivating strong relationships with integration stakeholders at all levels, HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Learning & Development, Resource Management, Finance, Technology, Marketing, and across Service Lines.
  • Lead HR integration workstream meetings, collaborate with stakeholders on making key decisions, and understanding and managing HR handoffs and dependencies.
  • Managing multiple integrations concurrently while also assisting in building out the HR integration toolset (e.g. playbooks, process flows, work plans).
  • Proactively identify integration areas for improvement and take these opportunities to collaborate in designing solutions and updating our toolset and processes.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Liberal Arts, Business Administration, or equivalent business experience is required.
  • 10 + years' experience leading post-merger HR integrations with a deal list.
  • M&A/deal experience (e.g. corp dev, due diligence, integration, post-integration).
  • Experience documenting, communicating and responding quickly to inquiries and challenges.
  • Working knowledge of all disciplines of HR (Benefits, Compensation, etc).
  • Minimum of 5 years of Workday architecture and configuration experience. Workday architecture experience is essential to collaborate with the HRIS manager and their team.
  • Working knowledge of all applicable modules of Workday. Must be able to provide thought leadership on the pertinent aspects and assist/facilitate the inculcation of target companies into the existing architecture of our Workday instance.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience working with a high degree of ambiguity.
  • Demonstrated experience operating in an unstructured & collaborative environment.
  • Track record of managing cross functional teams, and experience with managing multiple projects at once.
  • Experience collaborating with stakeholders to align on a shared vision, across teams, departments, as well as titles (from admins to senior executives).

Preferred/Desired Qualifications:
  • Professional services and or accounting firm business models and operations experience
  • Project Management Certification preferred.
  • Exceptional in business, MS Project, excel and other technology tools.
