The Senior Manager, Marketing & Sales Strategy position reports to the Director, Marketing and Sales Strategy, Adventures & Expeditions.

Responsibilities

The Senior Manager, Marketing & Sales Strategy position has three major areas of focus:

1. Providing business direction and marketing plans for Adventures by Disney and National Geographic Expeditions to drive Travel Trade sales channels.

2. Leading strategy and go-to-market planning for Private Jet product line.

3. Driving marketing and distribution strategy for the entire portfolio of products through key high-affinity audiences.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Drive innovative Marketing and Sales go-to-market strategies for Adventures by Disney and National Geographic Expeditions, partnering closely with Revenue Management, Trip Development, Operations, Finance, Legal, Marketing/Sales team partners, and more.

  • Directly lead all aspects of team of direct reports with wide range of responsibilities across brands and products.

  • Work with Consumer Insights team to deeply understand audiences, motivators, barriers, and demand to identify best opportunities to expand the business, identify opportunities to grow revenue and operating income, and closely monitor/measure business performance of key programs.

  • Partner with Trip Development and Operations teams to identify and drive development of new products and programs to accelerate growth over the long-term plan.

  • Routinely present to and collaborate with internal and external partners across all levels of leadership and functional areas.

  • Actively lead, coach, and develop direct reports.

  • Serve as a steward of positive team culture, upholding Disney Signature Experiences cultural pillars of Respect, Inclusion, Inspiration, and Continuous Improvement.

Qualifications

  • Skilled at building effective partner relationships and influencing peer partners/leaders

  • Proven critical thinking skills and ability to balance short-term and long-term priorities

  • Experience in project management and driving ideas into action

  • Skilled at understanding performance metrics to assess & optimize programs

  • Proven leadership abilities in motivating, directing, and mentor teams

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, plus outstanding professionalism

  • Advanced presentation skills and proven track record of presenting to executive audiences

  • 7+ years relevant marketing experience, ideally in Marketing or Sales Strategy, Brand Management, or Advertising Account Management

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or equivalent

  • Master’s in Business Administration or equivalent advanced degree preferred
