The Senior Manager, Manufacturing Quality - Test Systems is responsible for leading a team that operates in support of the integration, maintenance, troubleshooting and continuous improvement of test systems supporting assembly operations for the GE Appliances Dishwasher facility. These test systems and the associated output support product conformity and where necessary, facilitate component and finished product containment activities.

How You'll Create Possibilities
- Lead a team of test system engineers, focused on the improvement of test-related aspects of factory production and efficiency metrics (schedule achievement, yield, and productivity).
- Support the voice of the customer (both production assembly and end user) in the development and implementation of new and improved test methods to support growth, new model introduction, continuous improvement and improve outgoing product quality.
- Lead the development of Poke-Yoke work methods for testing. Develop both standard work and workstation aids to assist in operator training and operational consistency to improve quality yields.
- Monitor data streams for product conformity, support ICA / PCA resolution of factory or field feedback for any process gaps.
- Develop and lead continuous improvement projects focused on waste elimination, predictive maintenance, and downtime reduction. This includes projection of needs across business cycles for growth and sustainability.
- Provide first response support for production related issues surrounding test equipment.
- Own the calibration and preventative maintenance of test equipment.
- Prioritize work for team including but not limited to tester calibration, PM plan, component specifications, and CIB qualification of limits.
What You'll Bring to Our Team
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or engineering degree with Test Systems experience.
- Demonstrated success in scoping, leading, and implementing projects supporting New Product Introduction, Continuous Improvement and System Sustainability
- Team management experience including developing and coaching team members.
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of cross-functional project deliverables and ability to drive decisions based on the overall benefit to the company.
- Proven ability to influence others and drive change through direct employees and peers.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to tailor communication to the appropriate audience - from operational environment to business leadership.
- Demonstrated successful experience (5-10 years) in troubleshooting and supporting manufacturing test equipment, PLC, and controls.
- Advanced ability to interpret, analyze and update test coding and protocol for product performance (eg. leak and flow rates, wattage, resistance, Hipot, ground bond and other basic test parameters)
- Basic Proficiency in SQL database
- Troubleshooting experience in related disciplines: Electrical, Software, Pneumatic
- Strong verbal and nonverbal communication skills - will be expected to conduct strong coordination with adjacent shifts and provide report outs (written or verbal) to organizational leadership.
