RemoteKey Account Manager to manage subset of Collins Aerospace aftermarket, regional airline, and OEM network accounts. This role specifically focuses on sales development. The Key Account Manager is responsible for identifying product opportunities and training for assigned accounts. This will be accomplished through a mix of account management and promotional sales to stimulate demand. Developing and performing to an order forecast is key to the individual's success.
The successful individual will be self-motivated and driven, verbally articulate, and possess good relationship building skills. Additionally, this position requires both strong sales acumen and technical aptitude. The ability to coordinate multiple teams and business units within Collins will be essential.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Use a CRM to track sales activity (calls, emails, opportunities, campaign metrics)
- Assist in development of sales plans and campaigns as part of the sales organization.
- Primary contact prospects; develops a professional relationship with the purpose of understanding the customer needs and meeting those needs through implementation our hardware solutions.
- Meets and exceeds both quarterly and annual sales goals
- Coordinate with other business units to maximize sales opportunities and customer satisfaction.
- Works with our Value Stream Leaders to address upgrade opportunities due to both product obsolescence and functionality improvements.
- Work with customers to develop product specs for future projects.
- Support the business units' marketing organizations with accurate market, customer, and competitive information.
- Supports the design and execution of marketing and sales strategies, policies, and programs for company products.
- Define, develop, and assign new sales opportunity strategies with the business unit’s leadership team
- Provide in-depth technical presentations to customers; technical/software sales experience
- Travel and represent company at assigned tradeshows.
Qualifications/Experience Needed:
- U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in the Aerospace/Defense industry, preferred.
- Avionics interface and sales experience preferred.
- Prior avionics dealer background preferred.
