The Role

Are you a leader with experience managing service and operations functions? Join us in the Fidelity Fund and Investment Operations (FFIO) business unit where you will lead a team of analysts in one of our operations teams! Our teams provide accounting and pricing services to all Fidelity Retail, Institutional and ETF products, supporting multiple asset managers. Services include books and records maintenance, securities' pricing, and calculations of net asset values, yields and distribution rates. The division is comprised of 6 business units, representing approximately 350 associates located in two sites: Merrimack, NH, and Westlake, TX.

The Senior Manager oversees a staff of associates performing accounting and pricing functions and acts as the primary contact for daily operational needs, while providing leadership and support in collaboration with other associates within the business unit. As a leader of the team, the role provides divisional level support for all aspects of the business including risk management, operational strategy, systems improvement prioritization, communication strategy, customer/vendor/peer relationships, resource alignment, cost control, project management, business continuity and new business opportunities. In addition to operational responsibilities, the Senior Manager is also passionate about mentoring staff and providing career growth opportunities to develop a hardworking team.

  • Strong capability to form relationships, provide clear direction, and build effective teams

The Team

On this team you will Perform detailed review of NAVS, mils, and yields and assist in resolution of complex exception processing. Furthermore, you will provide functional area expertise, oversight, problem resolution, training, analysis, and reporting as required across a variety of group responsibilities. Below are the additional responsibilities of the Fund Operations team!

  • Coordinate functions associated with the department’s responsibilities, confirm they are addressed in a timely fashion and any areas of risk are identified and mitigated.
  • Monitor key performance indicators to address factors that are affecting the customer experience
  • Collaborate with management to make effective use of available resources across groups and recommend changes to systems, processes, and responsibilities as needed.
  • Coordinate business unit wide initiatives and effectively communicate plans to key partners
  • Provide direction and partner with associates to build meaningful development plans

Members of the team are accountable for ensuring client requests are processed within stated service level agreements and adhere to Fidelity and regulatory guidelines. The team ensures that all processes have sufficient Risk and Compliance Controls and policies and procedures are communicated and followed.
