SAIC is looking for a leader of Executive Compensation, who will report to the Senior Vice President of Total Rewards.  The Executive Compensation leader is responsible for the design, analysis, administration, and communication of Executive Compensation programs enterprise wide. This role is core to planning and preparing for Compensation Committee meetings throughout the year, annual Proxy Statement including CD&A and associated compensation tables and, supporting our Short-Term Incentive and Long-Term Incentive plans. 

The ideal candidate will have outstanding leadership, strategic thinking, influencing and communication skills. Requirements include a proven record of, working at a very fast pace, operating both independently and within a high-performing, team environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Executive Compensation processes to include compensation recommendations for leadership and the year-end compensation process.
  • Responsible for the planning and preparation of the Compensation Committee meeting agendas and materials.
  • Provide input into compensation-related filings and compensation disclosures, including Form 4s and the quarterly 10-Qs and the annual 10-K.
  • Assist and administer processes for company’s broad-based equity and Deferred Compensation programs.
  • Responsible for the preparation and/or management of key elements of the Company’s annual Proxy statement including CD&A and compensation tables.
  • Rigorously monitor Executive Compensation trends, staying abreast of applicable legislation and Federal Reserve Board requirements governing Executive Compensation which warrant disclosure in the Compensation Committee meetings or other public filings.
  • Engage with key stakeholders across Finance, Legal and other members of the executive leadership team on tax, accounting and regulatory aspects of Executive Compensation programs.
  • Support the design and administration of our Short-Term Incentive and Long-Term Incentive plans.
  • Facilitation of annual risk assessment review and engagement with external consulting firms.
  • Responsible for the creation and maintenance of all informational material related to annual compensation, new sign-on/one-time pay, timing of terms for potential senior level candidates.
  • Oversees the annual and quarterly off-cycle long-term incentive planning process (guidelines, budgets, collateral materials for management, global legal/regulatory compliance, approval process, participant communications).
  • Support broader enterprise priorities across Compensation in close collaboration with SVP of Total Rewards and CHRO.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's 18+ years of progressive experience in Compensation with 3+ years in Executive Compensation
  • Experience in the government services industry a plus.
  • Extensive knowledge of Executive Compensation programs and processes, including short term and long-term incentive plans.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with outstanding ability to translate ideas and thoughts in written presentations.
  • Strong collaborative skills to engage colleagues and peers to drive execution.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a team environment, including Compensation, Legal, Operations and all levels of Management.
  • Previous experience in interpreting corporate governance issues, SEC, and IRS regulations.
  • Familiarity with the standard concepts, practices, and procedures within compensation.
  • High proficiency in using MS Excel and MS PowerPoint is required.

Target salary range: $150,001 - $175,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
