The Sr. Manager of EPMO is responsible for leading and overseeing the strategic alignment, governance, and execution of all projects, program, and portfolio management activities across the organization. They will collaborate with senior executives, business units, and project teams to ensure that the enterprise strategy is realized through effective and efficient project delivery. The Sr. Manager of EPMO also establishes and maintains a consistent and world-class project management methodology, process, and standards for all project management engagements. The Sr. Manager of EPMO trains, coaches, and mentors project managers and other project stakeholders in project management best practices, tools, and techniques. They will monitor and report on the performance, status, and outcomes of all project initiatives, and provides guidance and support for resolving issues and risk while also managing an individual portfolio.

EPMO Management
- Develop vision and overall strategy for the Bank’s EPMO function.
- Leads and manages the EMPO function, in a matrix environment, fostering career development opportunities for Project and Program Managers.
- Implements and administers end-to-end portfolio governance, project management practices & processes, and effective reporting in alignment with the Bank’s strategic goals and objectives.
- On an ongoing basis, works with executives and business unit leaders to stop-start-right size project investments, ensuring project investments at any given time across the organization are closely tied to the strategic priorities, budgets and the direction set by Executive Leadership of the company. Implements process and governance to ensure adherence.
- As required, may lead bank-wide portfolio prioritization and reprioritization reviews for all enterprise projects, including business projects, including business projects with or without an IT component.
- Establishes process, and tools to track and manage resource allocation and resource utilization rates across Business Units, including integration with the annual planning and budgeting processes.
- Accountable for organization-wide education of EPMO policies, procedures, and standards and consistent application across the entire portfolio of projects.
- Stops project teams from “reinventing the wheel” by being the knowledge center for best practices, processes, templates, lessons learned, historical project repository.
- May engage regularly with all levels of leaders on strategy delivery and portfolio governance performance.
- May manage complex cross-departmental Programs as necessitated by need or request of the Leadership Team.
- Provides executive reporting as required.
Project Management & Execution
