Job Summary
Comcast is looking for a Senior Manager to join the Enterprise Procurement team to focus on Construction Labor & Wireless Infrastructure across Comcast Cable and Sky. The Construction Labor category includes Permitting, Fielding, Outside Plant (OSP) Construction, Design and Engineering (NDEA), and Locating. Wireless Infrastructure includes Core, RAN, eSIM/SIM, wireless trials and associated services. In this role, you will work collaboratively with stakeholders and leadership to develop and champion category strategies that support Comcast’s growth, efficiency, and reliability targets. This role reports to the Senior Director of Fixed Network & Wireless Infrastructure. Candidates should possess strong communication and relationship building skills, category management experience, and a commercial mindset. Negotiation experience and stakeholder engagement are critical to success in this role. An understanding of communications technology, construction labor and/or wireless industry is beneficial, but not required.Job Description
Core Responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of category strategies
- Data analysis (aggregate data, build business cases, spend analysis, savings tracking, and vendor offer comparisons) and translate data analyses into audience-appropriate presentations to guide decision-making
- Develop and manage market-facing activities – this includes managing RFPs, master agreements, and SOWs
- Support negotiation strategies; negotiate favorable commercial and contractual T&Cs
- Gain category expertise by understanding market & technology conditions; align/update strategy to meet business needs and mitigate risk
- Assist with managing supplier performance and relationships – this includes giving suppliers feedback on performance, continuous improvement, and innovation; detecting performance issues and determining root causes, and working with internal stakeholders and suppliers to drive an efficient resolution
- Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and strategic business partners
- Work with Comcast procurement systems and tools to effectively manage projects and report results & savings
- Special Projects – Contribute to special projects across the Enterprise Procurement team (supplier diversity, communications, process improvements, learning & development, etc.)

- Commercial mindset and strong data analysis skills, including data visualization skills
- Solid organizational and project management skills to execute strategy effectively & efficiently
- Ability to pivot/update strategy as requirements and market conditions change

- Experience interacting with and presenting to leadership and stakeholders at a variety of levels
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree, with 7+ years related experience. Degree in Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain/Operations, or preferred, but other majors accepted with right work experience
- Consulting, Business Development, Telecom/Cable experience is a plus
- Candidates should be proficient with Excel and PowerPoint
