The Senior Manager, CRM, Email and SMS Marketing will be responsible for effectively managing the email and SMS marketing channels, vendor partnerships, evaluating new technology, automations and scalable solutions. This role will serve as the subject matter expert for the CRM channels and will lead the overall contact strategy, test strategies and business development of new programs. A key focus of this role will be advancing our personalization efforts and building out highly personalized campaigns leveraging advanced CRM strategies, software applications and Martech partners. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with all marketing teams, internal operations teams and external partners in a consultative manner to lead optimization efforts.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute a comprehensive email-marketing program with a focus on personalization to achieve digital marketing sales targets. Deploy proven tactics to drive new customer acquisition, customer retention and conversion. Oversee a team who owns daily execution of email and SMS marketing initiates, calendar and project management, project implementations and management of 10+ partners. Manage day to day email and SMS programs, email list health, creative templates, email delivery, list management and various MarTech agencies. Establish CRM team as center of excellence within SPARC, providing clear strategic guidance, a point of view, guidance and direction to cross-functional team members and senior leaders. Produce weekly, monthly, and quarterly analysis hindsight's, insights and recommendations across three SPARC brands. Collaborate with Business Intelligence and Analytics Teams to report on CRM program results highlighting successes, trends and opportunities. Lead with data driven decision making and communicate actionable insights on opportunities and next steps. Advocate for the adoption of new technologies, processes and efficiencies. Optimize email performance through testing strategies, targeted segmentation strategies and creative enhancements. Support the success of the CRM channels by providing insights on best practices, program enhancements; bring forth new ideas and keeping current on trends. Utilize strong project management skills to track and deliver initiatives across the digital marketing team - which includes development of strategic marketing plans, implementing new program implementations, working through complex scenarios and troubleshooting issues, collaborating with internal and external teams and seeing projects through go-live. Strategic thinker, who can provide thoughtful recommendations and guidance for marketing strategies, new initiatives and help drive operational and automation efficiencies.
Qualifications7+ years in digital marketing, CRM or Email/SMS Marketing. Strong technical knowledge of ecommerce platforms, IT systems, email and SMS service providers, CDPs, analytics platforms and technical digital marketing partners. Passionate about eCommerce and digital marketing with an interest in apparel and retail. Deep understanding of email marketing, SMS marketing, digital marketing operations, ESP platforms, data analytics, business intelligence, CRM and database integrations. Knowledge of Bluecore, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Personalization and Attentive a plus. Strategic thinker, problem solver, self-motivator and manager, excellent time management skills and has acute attention to detail. Knowledge of HTML and CSS for email development. Experience creating and maintaining automated workflows. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data to make actionable recommendations. Proficient in Excel and data visualization tools (Tableau, Domo, BI Tools, etc.). Knowledge of web tools including pixels, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, etc. Strong project management skills, highly organized and demonstrated ability to execute projects on or under budget and on time or early. Must be able to operate both strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast-paced environment Experience working with partners at multiple levels within an organization (operations, marketing, finance, creative, etc.). Familiarity with CCPA, GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) a plus. Highly collaborative and the ability to work as part of a team. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Travel may be required, based on business needs. Adhere to regular in-office presence, including to engage in in-person team interaction, meetings and collaboration. Job duties may be performed effectively using the hybrid work program designated by the company. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor as the company retains the right to change duties to this position. Must have authorization to work in the United States.
