The Senior Channel Marketing Manager supports Channel and Segment Activation and non-commercial & Group Purchasing Organizations (GPO) accounts, including segment and customer-directed insights. The individual is the single point of contact for customer marketing support in these channels for insights, innovation, business management, and sales support.

Summary
The Senior Channel Marketing Manager supports Channel and Segment Activation and non-commercial & Group Purchasing Organizations (GPO) accounts, including segment and customer-directed insights. The individual is the single point of contact for customer marketing support in these channels for insights, innovation, business management, and sales support.
Responsibilities:
- Support the full scope of the $120M business, specifically Field, Non-Commercial, & GPO business, as the Channel Marketing Lead.
- Annual business planning
- Channel Assessment for Non-Commercial segments and GPO's.
- Internal Channel & Segment Assessment
- Customer Assessments
- Recommend Channel Strategies, Tactics & Execution Plan
- Annual plan execution, including customer alignment, annual marketing calendar, key industry, and customer events.
- Support custom innovation strategy and proprietary product management for target segments.
- Monthly business review - Reporting & analysis for Non-Commercial & GPO
- Work with Marketing and Insights agencies, as needed, to support business objectives.
- Initiates and supports commercialization efforts to support customer-specific innovation.
- Manage Marketing spending to meet budget objectives.
- Identifies opportunities for increased cross-functional alignment, and process optimization
- As the single point of contact for Non-Commercial and GPO's, oversees:
- Customer strategies to meet their specific needs
- Manage customer pricing and profitability, aligned to portfolio strategy and pricing approval process
- Customer-specific innovation, following stage gate process and supporting commercialization for proprietary items
- Channel insights and expertise and operator / customer strategies to drive delivery of budget, in close collaboration with sales and culinary
- Customized marketing and promotion support, as needed
- Responsible for leading cross-functional processes and teams:
- Initiates & supports RFIs and RFPs
- Initiates & supports new Item launches, working with Commercialization Project Manager
- Works and maintains relationships with Research and Creative Agency vendors.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors' degree with emphasis on Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
- An MBA is strongly preferred
- 6 or more years' experience in customer, channel, or product marketing, with a preference for food industry, business-to-business, and foodservice business.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, across diverse audiences, including MS Word and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical skills with advanced knowledge of Excel
- Experience managing projects and effectively working with cross-functional teams.
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to influence and lead, without direct authority
