We are looking for a Maintenance Mechanic for our Baltimore, MD location. This role executes all assigned work safely, effectively and efficiently within the general scope for the mechanic role. Provides feedback on preventative maintenance that might improve the process and notes additional work required on inspected equipment. Responds to emergency or unplanned work as needed, including callouts. Works on plant modifications including work on capital improvements. Participates in operation of plant utility systems.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Support and advance the site safety culture
- Strong background in preventative and predictive maintenance, reliability, and plant utilities
- Experience with maintenance planning of material ordering on Project work
- Working knowledge of OSHA safety requirements
- Equipment specific knowledge of boilers, steam systems, and electrochemical processes preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills; able to work and communicate well with others.
- Good analytical skills and experience applying problem solving techniques aimed at root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Preferably some small project management skills and experience within a chemical manufacturing environment.
- Preferably candidates with Maryland boiler operation and certification.
- Experience using computerized maintenance management software (SAP PM preferred), Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, Word), and other computerized systems.

What you’ll bring to the team:
- Preferably 5+ years’ pipe welding/fitting experience in manufacturing or related field
- Preferably experience with B31.3 pipe welding, fitting PVC, and fiberglass pipe
- Preferably experience with rotating equipment alignment installation. Including pumps, blowers, and motors
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Good interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
- Prefer computer skills including MS Office applications
