While specialized experience in one field is welcomed, the most qualified candidate will be able to serve as a well-rounded navigator of government with a working knowledge of legislative, procurement and land use processes.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and lead strategy to achieve client goals.
• Build productive relationships with elected officials and their staff, community groups, and clients that transcend a single project.
• Stay current on municipal and state legislation and regulatory matters relevant to clients and industries in your portfolio and communicate updates to applicable clients in a clear, concise, timely and informative manner.
• Anticipate client needs beyond current goals and scope of work to expand the client relationship.
• Ensure that clients are prepared to effectively communicate their message to relevant legislative and administrative bodies. This includes helping to formulate talking points, testimony, and other necessary documents.
  Experience:
  
• 5+ years of relevant experience working in or closely with City or State government.
• Demonstrated success in, and fluent knowledge of, the City and/or State's legislative, land use and budget process.
• Detail-oriented with strong project management and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A team player who is able to collaborate within internal project teams and external client teams.

Salary Range: The annual base salary range is $120,000-150,000 per year, plus a competitive benefits and bonus package
