We are looking for a driven, accountable, and experienced Senior Legal Contract Manager who will be based in our Boston office and report to the General Counsel in Melbourne, Australia. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Owning, maintaining, and enhancing an end-to-end contract management process, including:
- Partnering with IT
- Reviewing and enhancing organizational contract management processes
- Partnering with stakeholders to successfully implement change management programs
- Draft, analyze, negotiate, revise and execute an array of contracts with customers and vendors and other appropriate parties
- Own, maintain and enhance a centralized file, storage and documentation system for all contract-related material
- Build out language libraries and special contract terms
- Identify opportunities to improve business processes and devise plans to implement these changes
- Partner with sales, finance, product, and other internal stakeholders to negotiate and close commercial contracts while ensuring the terms comply with corporate policies and procedures
- Build and maintain relationships with vendors, clients, and other business connections
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Experience owning and managing contract management systems
- 7+ years of contracts negotiation experience (software or SaaS preferred)
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects with shifting deadlines
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Creative problem solving abilities
- Excellent stakeholder management skills. This role will interface with our internal teams and our customers globally, so having a great bed side manner with proactive communication, and the flexibility to respond to stakeholders working in multiple time zones is essential
- Associates and/or Bachelor's degree
- CPCM certification (Certified Professional Contracts Manager) awarded by the NCMA or other relevant certification (desirable)
- At Catapult, we have a hybrid working policy which consists of a minimum of three days in the office, and two days working remote. The successful candidate would need to be willing to be in our Boston office three days a week.
