A Mechanical Design Engineer with 5 or more years of experience is responsible for driving the design and development of complex mechanical systems and components. The role requires an individual who has a deep understanding of mechanical engineering principles and can apply this knowledge to real-world design problems. The engineer will lead cross-functional teams and be involved in all aspects of the design process from concept development to product launch
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the design and development of mechanical systems and components to meet customer requirements.
- Experience with the design and development of various valves such as
o Spool and sleeve metering valves pressure regulating valves
o Spring type valves shut off, minimum pressure
o Gear /vane / centrifugal pumps
- Continuously improve design processes and methodologies.
- Stay current with industry standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
5 or more years of experience in mechanical design engineering.
· Ability to understand design requirements and develop design of hydroMechanical Components.
· Deep knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and mechanical design.
Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD).
· Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to manage technical aspects of the project.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
· Good organizational and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with hydroMechanical Components.
· Proficiency in CAD software such as NX, SolidWorks, or ProE.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
