Our practice is seeking a highly qualified Senior Java Developer with strong experience with Spring Boot Angular and AWS. Our Developers have a passion for high-quality, reliable, and maintainable code. You will work side by side with product managers, designers, and clients, making decisions together to quickly deliver valuable working software to clients and their users. Responsibilities

• Experience with best practices for code designs and development

• Work in a team environment to develop, test, and deploy software changes.

• Work with customers to understand and implement new requirements.

• Provide customer support when necessary.

• Provide input on new designs and architecture as needed.

• Report Project status to all Stakeholders

• A good understanding of the API methods & how Web Service messages work (preferably an understanding of REST format)

• Must be self-motivated and adaptable to learning and understanding new technologies.

• Must be able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet aggressive deadlines.

• Must have strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making capabilities.

• Must have the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

• Need to attend the Daily standup / scrum calls in customer business hours.

Qualifications

• 10 years of extensive experience in Java.

• Microservices

• Spring Boot

• NoSQL/MongoDB
• Restful/web services
• Angular
• AWS/Cloud technologies
• Kubernetes, Kafka, Docker, Drools Framework (preferred).

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until 4/5/2024.

The annual salary for this position is between $52,000 - $135,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
