As a Java Core Developer, you will build on your current expertise by demonstrating core competencies as a bright and hardworking individual who thrives on challenges in developing new code and contributing to existing codebase. Projects include the creation of new features and services with the ultimate goal of contributing to product in the field of networking and distributed computing while working on some of the newest technologies. Some development requires creative approaches to find fast and effective solutions. You would be required to help contribute to such continual initiatives, and to build robust, scalable and efficient solutions.
What you'll need to be successful:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong experience with Java development.
- Proficiency in consuming and creating REST APIs.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with the Spring framework.
- Familiarity with relational databases, SQL, and ORM technologies (e.g., Hibernate).
- Experience with MySQL, Oracle, and database architecture design.
- Knowledge of message brokers such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, and Redis.
- Experience with Elasticsearch, Kibana, and communication protocols (e.g., MQTT, TR069) is advantageous.
- Positive attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new technologies independently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, including documentation.
- Proficiency in conducting code reviews and version control with GIT.
- Experience in designing and deploying high-performance computing or big data solutions.
- Familiarity with deploying and configuring Tomcat and debugging applications on Linux.
Additional Information:
- This position is exclusively for Core Java Developers; experience in full-stack or front-end development is not required.
