The Senior IT Technician is responsible for the operation and local administration of information technology resources to include hardware, software, network administration, wireless devices, building access and security, and any other IT related duties that support the overall RJKCCC mission objectives.

Responsibilities:
- Requisitions, orders, installs, maintains, builds, repairs (or requisitions repair) of computer hardware, system infrastructure, office equipment, software applications, building security panels and door access systems
- Administers and monitors systems and equipment access for staff and patrons, ensuring user access and functionality for current staff and troubleshooting internet and connectivity issues
- Ensures network and data security by regularly monitoring systems to minimize outside threats; recommending system upgrades as necessary
- Assists leadership with hardware, software and other technology contracts and purchases; making recommendations based on budgets and RJKCCC mission objectives
- Recommends information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements
- Provides staff training for software programs, troubleshooting IT and/or AV equipment issues
- Provides timely communication, feedback and follow-up to staff, leadership, and patrons regarding IT inquires and support assistance
- Develops and maintains training manuals related to IT components of the organization
- Develops methods to assure local IT support is available to users during operations RJKCC operating hours; schedules and communicates on-call support, procedures and communications
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in information technology; Minimum of 3 years of successful support experience in the information technology field, preferably in complex organizations with multiple user and technology levels or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 3 years of successful support experience in the information technology field, preferably in complex organizations with multiple user and technology levels
- 2 or more years experience in supervision (preferred)

Paid Time Off

- Vacation begins accruing the first of the month after one full calendar month after employment begins, and you may begin to use vacation days after (90) days of employment.
- The accrual rate is based upon years of service and approved hours worked.
- You will receive (1) personal day this year, and (2) personal days per calendar year thereafter.
- Paid holidays are effective immediately.
