A Senior IT Support Specialistis an information technology (IT) professional who maintains and supports computer hardware and software systems at a tier 2 advanced level. They're responsible for installing new hardware, programs, managing updates, application management and providing technical support.
In this position, you will play an integral role in our client services team. An important part of each day will involve performing tier 2 activities such as Active Directory, Microsoft Endpoint Management, and printer administration. You will also troubleshoot issues that arise, working directly with customers and support tier 1 ITS staff members for escalations. You will support other ITS projects and compliance efforts, as assigned. You will extensively use the ticketing system for assignment and tracking work tasks and incidents.

Six years of relevant information technology experience,
Or
Four years of relevant information technology experience and an associate degree in information technology, computer science, computer technology, or related field,
Or
Two years of relevant information technology experience and a bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, computer technology, or related field,
Or Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in information technology.
And one year of leadership experience
May Also Require
- Driver's License or ability to obtain one within 30 days of employment.
- Ability to pass a background check with fingerprinting by the Manatee County Sheriff's office.
- Possess or obtain Level 4 CJIS Security Training certification within 30 days of employment.
- Possess or obtain FEMA 100, 700 certifications within 30 days of employment.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 deployment and administration in a corporate environment.
- Advance working knowledge in the installation, maintenance, and support of Microsoft Windows 10 and 11 operating systems in an enterprise environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency of Microsoft Active Directory user administration and Group Policy.
- Extensive experience with antivirus in a corporate environment. Palo Alto Cortex preferred.
- Recent experience with Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM) in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency documenting processes, workflows, technical writing, and problem resolutions.
- Advanced proficiency researching and resolving technical issues with Operating Systems, software and hardware.
- Working knowledge of PowerShell scripting
- Experience with Microsoft Azure and Intune
- Extensive printing support for networked multifunction copiers and HP printers in a corporate environment.
- Wireless Technologies
- Mobile Gateway support
- Recent thin client support
