Job description

Shihua is a public company specializing in research and development, manufacturing of pressure-sensitive adhesive tape, and liquid adhesives. Factories based in China with sales and technical support teams worldwide. We support top-tier customers all over the world covering consumer electronics, electric vehicles, and medical devices spaces. We are looking for an ideal candidate who is a passionate, self-motivated, and detail-oriented team player who is committed to the success of our customers. You will focus on growing and developing new clients, expanding our customer base, and finding new applications/businesses.

Responsibility:

  • Responsible for advanced market and product research for consumer electronics, EV, and medical businesses. Develops new business opportunities for new customers and applications especially OEM and Top-Tier while supporting current customers.
  • Developing leads to bringing new business and sales, either by independently or working with a team to arrange customer introductions, presentations, development contracts, and product evaluations.
  • Collect industrial trends, and market data, analyze and evaluate competition of entry and propose proposition of the business potential for new products, technology, and applications. Report to management to support driving of development activities.
  • Develop a trusted advisory relationship with accounts, customer stakeholders and internal partners
  • Prepare and guarantee monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in mechanical engineering, polymer sciences, materials engineering, etc. An advanced degree is preferred.
  • High result orientation and capability to manage complex projects and communication needs independently.
  • At least 3 years experience in mechanical engineering and practical experiences in co-operating with commercial/technical functions of customers or suppliers.
  • Willingness to travel on the job domestically and internationally.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Positive attitude towards proactive communication and networking.
  • High level of presentation and communication skills in front of demanding audiences.
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic with demonstrated critical thinking capabilities
