Specializing in the healthcare and hospital environment, the Senior Director builds trusted relationships with business stakeholders, leveraging a nuanced understanding of industry-specific processes. Proficient in standardization and change management practices, the Senior Director is instrumental in fostering adaptability and driving positive transformations within the organization. This role combines strategic vision with hands-on experience, contributing to the overall success of Oracle Cloud ERP initiatives in the dynamic landscape of healthcare and hospital administration.


Responsibilities


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Leadership role in ERP transformation program, consolidating multiple legacy ERPs onto the Oracle Cloud standard, ensuring a seamless transition from implementation partners.
  • Defines the vision and strategy for the Oracle Cloud ERP product, encompassing a multi-year roadmap to guide the evolution of the platform.
  • Builds and leads a high-performing team of Information Technologies staff, consultants, and vendor partners, fostering a collaborative and innovative working environment.
  • Manages day-to-day operations while implementing strategies for continuous improvement in Oracle Cloud ERP processes and functionalities. Stays abreast of Oracle Cloud ERP advancements and industry best practices to drive innovation and enhance efficiency.
  • Collaborates with external vendors and partners, ensuring effective support and alignment with organizational goals. Proactively negotiates and manages vendor contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness and adherence to service level agreements.
  • Directs the development of the Information Technologies operating budget, maintaining rigorous controls to ensure compliance with budgeted expenses, resource allocations, and staff projections.
  • Assumes responsibility for the establishment of organization-wide systems standards (hardware, software, network systems) policies, and procedures.
  • Develops and implements robust information systems disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity and resilience in the face of unforeseen disruptions.
  • Cultivates the professional development of staff and monitors programs supporting production services, including staffing, standards, productivity analysis, cost factors, benefits realization, and operational processing.
  • Ensures the provision of cost-efficient information services and systems, anticipating developments in the field of information technology. Writes recommendations for management review, proposing enhancements to existing systems through ongoing assessment.
  • Completes mandatory continuous training and education, including department-specific requirements, to stay current with industry trends and advancements.
  • Assists in the ongoing development of organization-wide systems standards (hardware, software, network systems) policies, and procedures, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.

Qualifications


Education Requirements

Bachelor degree in Finance /Procurement/ IT or a related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and work experience in Finance, Grants, and Supply Chain.


Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, procurement, or a related field. Candidates with a dual background in finance & accounting, coupled with a computer science (CS) foundation, are highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in consulting, implementing, and developing solutions within Oracle Cloud Finance, Procurement, or ERP environments is highly advantageous.
  • Possession of professional finance certifications such as CPA, CIMA/CGMA, or CFA is a distinct advantage. Additionally, candidates holding project management certifications, such as PMP, will be considered favorably.
  • Practical exposure to transforming ideas into product features within a Software as a Service (SaaS) environment is essential.
  • A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in automating and overseeing large-scale transformations of finance processes, demonstrating a profound understanding of the interdependencies between finance, human resources, payroll, and supply chain processes.
  • A track record of at least 5 years in engaging with CxOs and key decision-makers, actively contributing to their Finance and Digital transformation journey in the cloud.
  • Proficiency in solution architecture with the ability to navigate solutions comprehensively across Human Capital Management (HCM) and ERP modules.
  • Demonstrated success in cultivating strong working relationships with both IT and Business Partners.
  • Exceptional customer service orientation and collaborative skills, ensuring a positive and fruitful engagement with stakeholders.
  • Extensive experience thriving in team-oriented, collaborative environments, showcasing adaptability and effective communication.
  • Strong project management skills with a focus on planning and organization, contributing to successful project outcomes.


Compensation Statement


The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for this role is $183,854.00 - $289,990.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
