Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior IT Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to join our Information Technology department and support our Global Manufacturing & Supply Chain organization. This role requires the candidate to be located in or near the Greater Pittsburgh area and to work onsite at least 3 days a week (hybrid) at our new, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Clinton, PA.
The IT organization is currently driving the creation of a Smart Factory strategy and technology optimization roadmap to support the company's Industry 4.0 initiatives. The BSA will play a critical role in executing that strategic roadmap and supporting projects to implement the associated software platforms at the manufacturing plants. Additionally, the BSA will serve as the primary Systems Analyst for the software platforms that we gradually deploy to the Clinton manufacturing facility as part of the IT roadmap execution. Lastly, as we migrate our on-premise Oracle environment to Oracle Cloud, this BSA will also play an instrumental role in ensuring we have alignment with the approved reference architecture for the manufacturing organization and are guiding the plants towards our future-state systems landscape.
Responsibilities:

  • Serve the following IT roles in support of the Global Manufacturing & Supply Chain organization:
  • IT Systems Analyst for the locally-managed Manufacturing systems at the Clinton, PA facility.
  • Technical SME and trusted IT adviser for new system capabilities to enable or improve the manufacture, release, and shipment of product from the manufacturing plants.
  • Business Analyst for system implementation projects and change requests impacting Level 2/Level 3 Manufacturing and shop floor systems. BA responsibilities will include eliciting user requirements, documenting process flows, drafting user stories/functional requirements, and serving as liaison between the business and software delivery teams.
  • Engage manufacturing site staff to assess information technology needs, elicIT Business requirements, document process flows, and draft user stories/functional requirements in preparation for solution design & development.
  • Build relationships with onsite personnel at the Clinton manufacturing plant. Partner closely with Automation Engineers and other local teams to identify opportunities for technology to enhance business processes, provide meaningful data, and facilitate issue resolution.
  • Assist in the analysis & delivery of system changes to address business requests/incidents, and engage technical teams as needed.
  • Liaise cross-functionally with the business and Software Quality/Compliance teams to drive system testing activities, SDLC documentation, and change control approvals.
  • Effectively communicate with cross-functional business teams to address inquiries and promote the value of Supply Chain applications (e.g. MES, WMS, CMMS, ERP, etc.) from the IT roadmap.
  • Collaborate with business partners and team members across various organizational levels, including site leadership/executives, area managers, team leads, and subject matter experts.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a similar technical field, highly desired. Equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
  • Strong background in using, configuring, or implementing Manufacturing & Supply Chain systems, required.
  • Experience with Manufacturing technology standards (core and emerging platforms) and identifying technology solutions to address business problems at the plants, required.
  • 5+ years conducting business process mapping, eliciting business requirements, and documenting user stories/functional requirements in preparation for system design & development, required.
  • 5+ years serving as the liaison between technical teams and business process owners/key users, required.
  • Experience with MES, CMMS, APM/OEE, ERP (Supply Chain modules), or WMS software solutions preferred.
  • Experience supporting business functions within the Supply Chain organization, required. Proficiency within the areas of Manufacturing and Logistics, preferred.
  • IIBA certification, preferred.
  • CSCP, CPIM, CLTD, or similar Supply Chain Management certification, preferred.
  • Experience in the Life Sciences industry and with GxP-regulated software platforms is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Industry 4.0 concepts and related technologies, preferred.
