Senior IT Application Administratorand Product OwnerPosition Description
The Senior ITApplication Administrator and Product Owner is responsible for providing key subject matter expertise and support of a portfolio of both internally developed and purchased applications. This individual serves as the primary conduit between IT and the business units they support.

• The Senior Application Administrator supports the IT Department's most complicated and critical applications.

• Demonstrate extensive experience with Airline Operational Control systems, including Crew Management Systems, Dispatch Systems, AC Tech Ops Systems and Crew Training Management and Records Systems as an Application Administrator/Product Owner.
• Sr Administrator will serve primary IT role in the airline's most critical and complicated projects.
• Will work across teams to develop business cases for large capital projects.
• Leads development and continual improvement of Application Administrator tools and processes.
• Mentors and coaches less experienced team members.
• Ensure teams are adhering to ITIL practices and standards.
• May program in an administrative language.
• Fully understand and document portfolio operating costs and total cost of ownership. Develops unit cost metrics. Provide cost inputs to annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes.

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of relevant IT or related business area expertise as an Application Administrator and Product Owner.
• Experience with user story writing and/orrequirementsgathering.
• Extensive experience with Airline Operational Control systems, including Crew Management Systems, Dispatch Systems, AC Tech Ops Systems and Crew Training Management and Records Systems as an Application Administrator/Product Owner.
• Post-secondary degree or equivalent workexperience.
• Ability to setclear objectives and developing a plan on how toexecute.

• Ability to work independently and think critically, troubleshoot, and solve complex problems in a fast-paced, changingenvironment.

• Proficient at solving complex challenges, work independently and exercise sound judgment where clear guidelines might not exist.
• Basic technical troubleshooting skills commensurate with the portfolio.

• Understanding of workflow and process requirements of the business areas supported by the portfolio.

• Understanding ofcommon software development methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to be the subject matter expert in supporting, maintaining, and administering complex applications.

• Proficiency with the Office365 suite of software.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3 + years travel industry or aviation-related experience.

• A background in product and technical leadership for medium and large-scale strategic initiative projects, including requirements gathering and project management.
