Senior IT and Development Manager

For internal applicants - must be employed with ZLINE for a minimum of 6 months to 1 year and must have managers approval to transfer

Location: Reno - in person, not remote

Position Overview:

The Sr. IT and Development Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing our Information Systems and Technology teams while being responsible for all things tech at ZLINE.  This leadership position requires a forward-thinking individual who can collaborate seamlessly with executive teams, foster strategic partnerships, and drive IT excellence across the board.

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years in an IT or Software Development leadership role
• 4+ years of experience in IT/IS with a proven track record of success.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, software development, and system security.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Javascript, SQL, Apex and Liquid is a plus.
• Knowledge of WMS and CRM systems, especially Salesforce, NetSuite, ShipHawk and BrightPearl.
• Experience with Networking systems, preferably Cisco Meraki and Spectrum Enterprise. 
• Strong understanding and prior hands-on experience with ERP Systems.
• Prior experience managing, integrating and maintaining EDI connections with different retail partners. 
• Experience with cloud platforms like Azure, Google Workspace, or Microsoft 365.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity tools and practices, including intrusion detection systems and encryption protocols.
• Experience with database management systems, preferably, Microsoft SQL server. 
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate and manage contracts effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills. 
• Ability to think strategically and execute methodically.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage IT and Web Development teams.
• Develop and oversee all IT operations for entire organization.
• Manage IT budgets, ensuring optimal resource allocation and cost-effectiveness.
• Knowledge of network configurations.
• Allocate IT resources effectively, setting tangible KPIs and goals to monitor progress and ensure success.
• Oversee the migration, integration, and management of key systems, including but not limited to: CRM, WMS  ERP, TMS, VOIP, Email, and Cloud storage systems.
• Uphold the highest standards in cybersecurity, overseeing the management and maintenance of the enterprise network, firewalls, and other crucial network components.

What You’ll Get:

Hours: Monday -Thursday, 8:30 am-5:30 pm with a 1-hour lunch & Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm with a 30-minute lunch

Compensation starts at $100,000+ DOE

Pay dates are bi-weekly
