SUMMARY
Generate new fee income, and maintain existing fee income, for Investment Management and Trust Services by establishing and managing brokerage relationships with clients referred by internal and external sources. Actively participate in. the overall sales effort for Investment Management and Trust services in the designated market area.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Directly seek prospects and actively sell investment brokerage services in the assigned market area.
  • Coordinate sales activities with other areas of the Bank, involving Investment Management and Trust Services staff in team selling.
  • Maintain effective contacts with other departments and divisions within the Bank, and cross-sell bank services to prospective Investment Management and Trust Service customers as necessary to establish strong customer loyalty.
  • Follows all Riverview policies and procedures.

RELATIONSHIPS
- Regular contact with CEO to determine and implement marketing strategies.
- Frequent interaction with branch/department managers and staff in coordinating marketing activities.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university and four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation, or equivalent desired. Must hold Series 6 or 7, and series 63 licenses. Investment and/or insurance experience preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
The position requires the basic skills associated with the general use of computers and other business office equipment. The ability to offer flexibility in a changing work environment is imperative.

The salary for this role will be between $72,615 and $106,019. The specific salary offered will depend on several factors including but not limited to applicant's skills and prior relevant experience. Hired candidate may be eligible for healthcare benefits, 401K plan, short term & long-term disability coverage, life insurance, vacation & sick time, educational assistance, and several holidays. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards.
