Job Description:
As a Senior Interior Designer at SDB, you will be responsible for leading design projects, providing creative direction, and delivering exceptional interior design solutions that meet and exceed our clients' expectations. This role offers an opportunity to showcase your expertise in design, mentor junior designers, and contribute to the continued success and growth of our firm.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Leadership: Lead and manage interior design projects from inception to completion, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and exceed customer expectations.
Design Excellence: Conceptualize and create innovative and well-thought-out interior design solutions that align with client needs, project objectives, and current design trends.
Client Collaboration: Develop and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their vision and requirements, and effectively communicating design concepts and progress.
Team Management: Supervise and mentor future junior designers, providing guidance, feedback, and support to foster their professional growth.
Budget and Resource Management: Oversee project budgets and resource allocation, ensuring efficiency and profitability while maintaining design integrity.
Collaboration: Work closely with other departments and teams, including vendors, trade partners, and architects, to ensure a seamless flow of information and resources.
Design Research and Development: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative materials to enhance design capabilities and offer clients cutting-edge solutions.
Quality Control: Maintain rigorous quality control standards throughout the design and implementation phases, guaranteeing the highest level of excellence in every project.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design or a related field.
NCIDQ certified preferred
Proven experience in interior design, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of projects.
Excellent proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite).
Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
Strong leadership and project management skills.
Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
Ability to collaborate effectively with clients, colleagues, and external partners.
A keen eye for detail, creativity, and an understanding of current design trends.

Compensation:
The projected salary range for this opportunity is $70,000 - $90,000 annually and may be more or less depending on skills, experience, and education.
